A new tire has been added to Goodyear’s Wrangler range of all-terrain products in the form of the Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse HT.
The company’s latest tire has been developed to deliver traction in all-weather scenarios including snow, aided by a long-lasting tread compound for optimal grip and a longer service life.
In certain LT and C-type sizes of the tire, Goodyear has used soybean oil in place of petroleum-based materials within the tread compound to improve the tire’s sustainability credentials and contribute to the manufacturer’s aim to fully remove petroleum-derived oils from its tires by 2040.
The Wrangler Workhorse HT is available in 34 sizes to enable fitment to a wide range of sport utility vehicles and pick-up trucks.
“The Wrangler Workhorse HT delivers drivers exactly what its name implies: durable, long-lasting performance and the toughness to excel wherever your day or job takes you,” said Michiel Kramer, director of consumer product marketing at Goodyear. “We engineered the Wrangler Workhorse HT to be dependable and versatile in rain, sleet or shine.”
