This new tire has been specifically designed for grain carts and features an extra-wide footprint to minimize soil compaction and a shallow R-1 skid depth to reduce soil disturbance.
Constructed from premium tire compounds, the Destination Cart is built to withstand stubble damage and other field challenges. Firestone Ag backs this durability with a nine-year radial tire limited warranty.
“Specifically designed with soil health in mind, Destination Cart features a shallow skid depth and wide lug spacing that creates a flotation effect across the soil,” said Bill Durivage, senior agricultural product strategy manager, Firestone Ag.
“The wide footprint minimizes soil compaction, and the shallower, wider-spaced lugs create less soil disturbance as the grain cart carries heavy loads during harvest season.”
The new tire will be showcased at the Farm Progress Show 2024 in Boone, Iowa, on August 27-29.
