Falken is launching the new range of e.ZIEX tires for electric vehicles in Europe to cater for a growing demand. Falken claims this offers the highest level of fuel efficiency of any tire released by the manufacturer so far.
To ensure the e.ZIEX is suitable for EVs and their specific characteristics, the latest tire uses a new rubber compound which has been developed using Falken’s own advanced 4D nano design material development technology to enhance fuel efficiency and grip strength.
Additionally, the tire manufacturer has optimized the profile of the e.ZIEX by reducing the tread width in the shoulder section to enhance the uniformity of contact pressure for greater load resistance. When developing the tire, Falken implemented its Silent Core, a specialized noise absorbing sponge technology which reduces tire road noise inside and outside the cabin. Falken has also made improvements to the tire’s performance on wet roads.
The e.ZIEX is the company’s second range of replacement EV tires and follows the Dunlop e.Sport Maxx which was launched in China last year.
