As winter approaches, Falken has expanded its range of seasonal tires, with the Eurowinter HS02 and HS02 Pro now available in 45 and 74 sizes respectively.
Falken is also offering a new all-season tire, the Euroall Season AS220 Pro. Available in Europe since mid-September, the AS220 Pro is aimed specifically at performance-oriented vehicles.
The HS02 and HS02 Pro feature a dynamic sidewall design, lower weight and numerous technical features, including a symmetrical and directional V-profile which increases water drainage, and an asymmetrical three-zone tread on the HS02 Pro for clearing water in wet conditions.
In the case of the Euroall Season AS220 Pro, its design is optimized to meet the requirements of high-performance vehicles. According to Falken, the improved contour prevents a deformation of the tread and compensates for centrifugal forces at high speeds, resulting in more consistent contact with the road, which ensures improved stability and responsiveness while steering and braking, even at higher speeds.
The Eurowinter HS02, launched in 2022, is now available in 45 sizes from 14in to 20in in the 45 to 70 series. Depending on its size, the tire has the speed index T/H or V and is approved for speeds of up to 240km/h.
The HS02 Pro, which comes with a speed index of H/V/W (depending on size) and is rated for speeds of up to 270km/h, is available in 74 sizes from 16in to 21in in the 35 to 70 series.
Falken’s Euroall Season AS220 Pro is available in 45 sizes from 17in to 21in, across the 35 to 65 series, and is rated for speeds of up to 270km/h.
