Owned by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, the tire manufacturer Falken is set to launch an extensive range of tires later this year, catering to vehicles including trucks, EVs, ultra-high performance, motorsport and off-road.
The line-up includes the new Falken Azenis RS820, designed for high-powered cars. It will initially be produced in 38 sizes in the 30 to 45 series, with diameters of 19 to 21 inches for speeds of up to 300km/h.
Available since 2023, the Falken e. Ziex has been introduced in 17 new dimensions. The tire is tailored for electric and hybrid vehicles and Falken says its capabilities include energy efficiency, noise emissions and rolling resistance.
The company’s UHP summer tire, the Falken Azenis FK520, has capabilities for wet grip, dry handling and comfort, and is now available in additional sizes from 205/40 R18 (86Y) XL to 325/30 R21 (108Y) XL in addition to the previous selection. Five further dimensions are to be added in the spring.
For off-road enthusiasts, Falken presents the Wildpeak R/T01, tailored for demanding terrain with its tread design and structure. It is available in nine dimensions with a diameter of 16 to 20in in the 75, 70, 65, 60 and 55 series for up to 160 km/h.
The Linam Van01 and EuroAll Season Van11 complete Falken’s range of van tires, offering durability and safety for light commercial vehicles, available in 37 sizes in the 55 to 82 series in 12-17in sizes. The Linam Van01 is designed for speeds of up to 210 km/h.
The EuroAll Season Van11, which is marked with the snowflake symbol as an all-season tire suitable for winter, is available in 23 sizes in the 55 to 75 series with diameters of 14 to 17in.
