Bridgestone has introduced a new all-season van tire – the Duravis All Season EVO. Replacing the Duravis All Season, the EVO is engineered to deliver maximum efficiency for van users and fleets, from regional to urban last-mile deliveries.
The Duravis All Season EVO completes the van line-up from Bridgestone, along with the Duravis Van summer and Duravis Van winter tires. The EV-ready tire provides significant improvements in mileage, wet performance and fuel/energy efficiency compared with its predecessor.
Developed with Enliten technology, the tire delivers 15% better mileage and a 15% reduction in rolling resistance for increased fuel/energy efficiency versus the outgoing model. It also offers best-in-class wet grip performance, boasting an EU A-grade label. With its Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) and M+S markings, the new tire is also fully winter-ready.
The new tire features a specific polymer that boosts abrasion resistance – alongside optimized content pressure distribution and improved pattern stiffness. It also has a dedicated filler type for better wet performance, alongside high-volume slots in its shoulder for water evacuation and a new V-shaped layout to improve snow tractability.
The tire’s improved fuel/energy efficiency is made possible by the adoption of a polymer that minimizes energy loss, plus a sidewall protector rib that reduces the impact of curb collisions.
Stefano Sanchini, vice president of consumer replacement at Bridgestone EMEA, said, “Van users and fleets are demanding durability, robustness and year-round performance from their tires. Our latest van tire is engineered to provide exactly that – minimizing downtime and reducing costs to keep fleets going safely across the seasons with a single set of tires.”
The Duravis All Season EVO tire will launch in January 2025 and be available in 24 sizes ranging from 15in to 17in, including six high-load 10PR sizes.
