Davanti Tyres has launched its first ultra-ultra-high-performance (UUHP) tire, the Protoura Sport Evo. It is also the company’s first tire to be designed and manufactured in Europe.
Davanti says the new tire has been designed and engineered in one of Europe’s most advanced smart factories, which has played a crucial role in the design and development of the Protoura Sport Evo, with improvements to the wet and dry handling performance of predecessors.
European manufacture also benefits the supply chain efficiencies of near-shore production for European customers, offering access to new opportunities as well as improving competitiveness in local markets.
Highlights of the Protoura Sport Evo include an advanced and improved tread design to maximize water dispersion, grip and braking performance, and a specially engineered silica compound developed for superior traction and dynamic handling. The new tire also boasts improved wet and dry handling and deep rim protector technology for enhanced wheel protection.
General manager at Davanti Tyres Peter Cross said, “This truly is a milestone for Davanti Tyres. Not only are we revealing our first ultra-ultra-high-performance tire, but we’re also manufacturing this next-generation flagship tire in Europe, which is a first for the brand, too.”
The tire will be available from Q3 2025.
