UK-based tire maker Davanti Tyres has launched its first all-season passenger car tire – the Alltoura 4-Seasons.
Following extensive testing at Davanti’s new European development center and the Applus+ Idiada proving ground in Spain, and winter testing at UTAC Ivalo in Finland, the Alltoura 4-Seasons is claimed to provide a high level of performance in a wide range of weather conditions all year round.
Davanti’s cross-climate offering benefits from a directional tread pattern to ensure reliable grip during the winter months, and a specially formulated, advanced silica compound to deliver stability over large temperature ranges. The Alltoura 4-Seasons also features a sipe design that enables efficient water evacuation and extra grip on snow- and ice-covered surfaces.

“To create a tire that delivers a true all-season performance without a bias toward either winter or summer has been both challenging and demanding,” said Ray Collier, a director of Tyre Research Engineering and Development (TREAD). “The work that has gone into the development is clear when you first drive the new Alltoura 4-Seasons tire – it is immediately obvious that the driver focus for dry conditions has not been sacrificed and the linear steering response makes the tire involving and rewarding to drive. The rolling comfort and cabin noise blend perfectly to create a comfortable ride, and the V groove pattern and newly developed compound really shine through in winter conditions, with a secure handling balance giving confidence in demanding conditions.
The Davanti Alltoura 4-Seasons is Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certified and will be available to suit diameters from 14in to 18in.
