Cooper Tire Europe has introduced the all-terrain Discoverer A/T3 Sport 2 for 4X4s and SUVs.
The A/T3 Sport 2 has a new tread compound improving wet grip by 3% and an upgraded EU label grade C for wet braking.
Cooper says the tire, which was developed at its MIRA Technology Park in the UK and Cooper Tire and Vehicle Test Center in Pearsall, Texas, has enhanced cut and chip resistance and increased sidewall protection.
The new compound guards against effects of ozone and UV degradation while a non-staining sidewall protects the white lettering from discoloration.
Michiel Kramer, sales and marketing director of Cooper Tires Europe, said, “We are excited to add the A/T3 Sport 2 to our line-up. While we already offer a vast range of 4×4 and SUV tires, for many different purposes, it is important that we continue to make strides in the all-terrain market. With the A/T3 Sport 2, we feel we have achieved another significant step forward.”
