The next-generation BMW X3 will be supplied equipped with Bridgestone Alenza 001 and Blizzak tires in 11 different sizes. The Alenza 001 summer pattern has been specified in 18, 19, 20 and 21in rim diameters. Select models will feature the tire with run-flat technology.
“Tire design and application are critical to ensuring a vehicle performs at its maximum capability,” said Shannon Quinn, president, original equipment, US and Canada consumer tire sales, Bridgestone Americas Tyre Operations. “Bridgestone has a long-standing relationship with BMW and our engineers worked collaboratively with them to develop innovative, performance-driven tire technology exclusively for the BMW X3.”
The Blizzak LM001 tires will be fitted to models of the BMW X3 sold in select European markets where winter tires are required by law. The tire will be available as standard or with run-flat technology.
