The release of a new 875/65 R 29 L-5 size Earthmax SR 51 tire has been announced by Indian manufacturer BKT.
BKT’s latest 65 series tire line has been specifically designed for application to wheel loaders carrying out operations in the demanding environments of rock quarries and landfill sites.
The new size Earthmax SR 51 is already available and features an extra deep L-5 tread to provide a high level of protection against cuts and punctures, while delivering an extended service life.
The tire benefits from extra sidewall protection for durability and to deliver a high level of traction. Featuring an all-steel structure and cut-resistant compounds, the wheel loader tire was developed to increase productivity by preventing downtime caused by damage.
With a low-profile design and reinforced beads, the Earthmax SR 51 provides excellent stability resulting in a longer tire life. To reduce the risk of punctures, a square-shaped shoulder laterally ejects gravel to prevent further damage from occurring.
BKT’s new 875/65 R 29 L-5 size joins the existing Earthmax tire sizes, all of which feature the L-5 class tread and cut-resistant compound. The manufacturer’s Earthmax line was designed to promote the better distribution of loads for a range of heavy machinery.
