Tire manufacturer Alliance, a part of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, has announced the expansion of available sizes within its agricultural tire range. The company is offering new sizes of its Alliance 372 VF aimed at tractors and combine and harvester applications; the Alliance 363 VF row crop for tractors and sprayers; and the Alliance 585 for telehandlers and compact loaders.
The 372 VF has recently benefitted from a construction upgrade and a new stubble guard compound. The expansion in the Alliance range means that the tire is now available in a new VF 710/60R34 size. Following research carried out in France, the 372 VF tire range is said to offer high fuel efficiency, powerful traction, low slip, and a large footprint, resulting in less soil impaction.
Now available in additional sizes consisting of a 380/105R50 and 480/80R50, the Alliance 363 VF meanwhile features a hybrid design that has been developed specifically for tractors and sprayers that are used on both the road and in fields. The high-speed steel-belted tire features very high flexion technology (VF) that extends tire life due to its low wear properties. Alliance states that the row crop tire can last twice as long as conventional tread designs when used on the road.
Lastly, the Alliance 585 now comes in size 305/70R16.5 and 265/70R16.5 and is an agro-industrial steel-belted tire targeted for use in multiple industries such as construction or material handling, among others, due to its performance on both hard and loose surfaces. Its robust construction and durable design make it a versatile option for an array of vehicle operations.
“We encounter enormous interest and demand in these tires and work hard to bring them to end-users in all relevant sizes. Seeing these tires appreciated as they are is an impressive confirmation of our strategy,” commented Angelo Noronha, president Europe, Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.
