Yokohama Rubber has released the Geolandar A/T XD in North America and Australia for use on large commercial vehicles including full-size pickup trucks. The all-terrain tire will be made available in 28 sizes to suit a range of vehicles.
The Geolandar A/T XD has been developed with durability in mind to ensure it can withstand the challenging environments of the mining and agricultural industries where certain commercial vehicles operate. During development, Yokohama placed a key focus on enhancing the tire’s durability and driveability in rigorous conditions. The tire delivers long mileage over its service life and is Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, denoting its suitability for use on snow- or ice-covered roads.
To keep up with the growing SUV and pickup truck sectors, the tire maker has accelerated its development and introduction of new tires to the Geolandar series in addition to producing expanded size line-ups.
