Cooper Tire Europe has launched its new Discoverer all-season tire, designed to provide high traction in unpredictable weather – all year round.
The new Discoverer, which comes in a wide range of sizes, offers high levels of grip over a wide temperature range, thanks to the incorporation of special silica and resin technology.
With a B label grade for wet grip, both lateral 3D siping and grooves in the tire provide effective water evacuation. An interlocking center rib helps to avoid aquaplaning and assists in maintaining steering response.
An optimized tread block sequence reduces the noise generated by the contact with the road (to 71db), and the refined construction ensures a quiet and comfortable ride.
Highly durable compound materials and an advanced construction ensure an even footprint, improving the tire’s life by 20% over an established competitor, as demonstrated in independently conducted tests.
