Hankook Tire is to supply racing tires to the 2019 Radical Australia Cup, a sports car racing series held in Australia and New Zealand.
The company will supply the motorsports event with its Ventus F200 and Ventus Z217 racing tires. The Ventus F200 is a dry surface slick racing tire with excellent grip, handling performance and durability, and the Ventus Z217 is a wet surface racing tire with high stability. Both have already been acknowledged by the world’s prestigious motorsports.
The Radical Australia Cup, in its 11th season as of 2019, is hosted by Radical Australia, a racing team established by Radical car owners. Training and mentoring programs for Radical car owners are the main parts of the motorsports events.
The first race of the 2019 season took place at Mount Panorama on February 1, 2019, and will be followed by five more rounds in major race circuits in Australia and New Zealand, including Sydney Motorsport, Philip Island, Bend Motorsport Park and Highlands Motorsport Park.
Hankook Tire already supplies racing tires or sponsors teams in several global motorsports events including DTM, Formula European Masters, and Formula Renault Eurocup.
