Hoosier has become the new tire partner for the ADAC Touring Car Junior Cup. The US manufacturer, which specializes in racing tires, is supplying the new slick and rain tires for the junior league.
The Hoosier tires will be used for the first time at the test opener in Most, Czech Republic, March 2-3, 2024. Before the season opener of the ADAC Touring Car Junior Cup, which takes place from May 10-12 at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany, there will be further opportunities for teams and drivers to test the cars and tires as part of the pre-season preparations.
During the testing phase, Matthias Meyer, who is responsible for the development of the vehicles and technical support for the Junior Cup, reported, “The dimensions fit perfectly to the rim and the car, and the tire compound we have chosen takes into account both the vehicle weight and the length of the races.
“Hoosier’s new tires have a good balance between performance and wear and will give our drivers a lot of pleasure for years to come. We look forward to continuing to work with them and would like to thank Hoosier in advance for the active support we received during the test phase.”
For Hoosier, the three-year partnership with ADAC is another step in expanding its presence in Europe.
