TP Commercial Solutions has revealed the new Formula Driver II tire, now available for long-haul and regional all position applications as part of the Formula brand, a Pirelli Tier 2 brand that will be launched in the USA and Canada.
“The Formula Driver II tire performed very well in testing across multiple environments and applications, delivering great value in mileage, handling and durability thanks to Pirelli’s Spiral Advanced Technology for Truck (SATT),” said Clif Armstrong, president of TP Commercial Solutions.
The Formula Driver II is said to provide three main benefits: an optimized tread pattern featuring siping at the groove edges resists irregular wear, improving mileage; large circumferential grooves combined with the optimized structure provide better stability and handling in dry and wet conditions; stone ejector elements at the bottom of the grooves prevent stones trapping, improving retreadability and durability.
