Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Virginia reopened on Monday, June 1, after temporarily closing due to COVID-19.
The plant in Salem, Virginia, will see new safety procedures based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and from local authorities.
Restarting operations in Salem follows the reopening of the Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi plant on April 27.
The plant in West Point, Mississippi, produces commercial truck tires.
