VMI South America, a subsidiary of VMI Group, has moved to a new facility in Brazil which will facilitate the group’s further growth in the region.
Headed up by managing director Robson Souza de Araujo, the facility, located in the Itatiaia region, provides approximately 1,350m² of floor space, comprising a workshop and offices.
It also includes a depot repair facility, dedicated to tire maintenance and repair and shaping drums, which are in use in several tire plants in South America. The company’s Retrax tire retreading machines will also be produced and assembled there.
