VMI Group has opened its new manufacturing facility in Leszno, Poland. In the first phase, a 13,500m2 facility will be built on an 8ha plot of land.
Various sites in Eastern Europe were investigated. Leszno was selected due to its pools of well-motivated and highly qualified technically skilled employees from universities and technical schools situated nearby.
The new facility will help shorten the delivery time of VMI’s equipment at a low cost level. Expected to be operational in Q2 of 2017, the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility will produce according to the latest Lean principles and will employ 125 people in the first phase.
