Sentury Tire is to build a new US$430m factory in LaGrange, Georgia, USA. The facility, which will serve as the company’s North American headquarters, will have an annual output of 12 million units.
In line with Industry 4.0, it will be equipped with smart production technology – alongside advanced test tracks and proving ground facilities, R&D equipment, and warehouse and distribution operations.
It will cover an area of 1,400,000ft² on 400 acres of land. SSOE Group has been selected to manage the architectural design, engineering, and construction of the plant. It it expected that more than 1,000 jobs will be created in the region once the facility is fully operational in 2019.
