HF Group has seen a strong interest in its integrated automation mixing room systems and intelligent process technology, the company reported at this year’s Tire Technology Expo.
The company’s Advise solution provides a modular, scalable system for automating mixing rooms. All areas of the mixing room are included, from inventory management of raw materials in the warehouse, through to the manual weighing of small chemicals, fully automated weighing of bulk material, control of the mixing process, and downstream equipment such as open mills and single- or twin-screw discharge extruders, all the way through to the compound storage room.
During the Expo it became clear that rather than the delivery of individual machinery for mixing applications, the market requires a concept for entire system solutions which not only include machines and modules, but also automation and all the auxiliary products that are integrated into a system.
Visitors to Tire Technology Expo 2018 also showed a particular interest in the 3D scanning service for existing mixing room systems. This brand new service enables more efficient planning for retrofitting of mixing room systems.
HF has also entered recently into a strategic co-operation with B&K Wäge- und Anlagentechnik, a German company based in Hamm specializing in upstream material handling solutions and plant engineering. HF will benefit from the company’s expertise in dense phase conveying systems for fillers.
