Details of the new LD-Master L5 Traction radial tire developed for construction vehicles have been unveiled by Continental and will be fitted with tire sensors ex-works.
Designed specifically for construction loaders operating on rough surfaces, the LD-Master L5 Traction benefits from a reinforced carcass to ensure high payloads can be catered for, contributing to a high level of productivity. The tread pattern – which features a solid tread block design – delivers a high level of traction and protects the carcass for extended vehicle uptime. Added sidewall protection provides durability in challenging conditions.
To optimize the service life of the tires, the latest product can be fitted with an integrated tire sensor ex-works. By using ContiConnect 2.0, operators can monitor temperature and tire pressures in real time to ascertain whether the L5 Traction is operating efficiently, and thus extend service life.
The LD-Master L5 Traction tire will join Continental’s ContiEarth tire range and will be available in a size 35/65 R33. It will be presented at the Bauma 2022 trade fair in Munich, Germany, October 24-30, 2022.
