Hankook has moved both its European headquarters and German local office into a new building just a few hundred meters from the previous address, to enable future expansion, including installation of new equipment.
The relocation was necessary because the old premises no longer fulfilled the company’s demands – particularly in terms of usable floor space and equipment (e.g. the need for high-speed data transmission technology).
“Ever since we moved in here in 2003 we have felt very much at home in the Rhine-Main region, and in Neu-Isenburg in particular, as it has an outstanding transport infrastructure,” explained Ho-Youl Pae, head of Hankook Tire Europe.
“For this reason, we took great care when planning the expansion in terms of necessary measures and to leave structures unaffected as much as possible. Our new, more efficient office architecture gives us the opportunity to make significant improvements to our customer service and the working environment of our employees. At the same time, staff work journeys remain practically identical.”
