Kistler Instrumentation is showing its latest range of sensors for end-of-line and R&D testing at Tire Technology Expo in Hannover.
Frank Furter, from the company’s business development department, explained that the sensors can be pre-loaded for ease of use in tire testing machines and that a big advantage of the sensors is that they measure in both tons and grams.
“This is very important,” said Furter, “especially if you want to see the dynamics of a tire contacting the road or the drum.”
