At the launch of Suzuki’s new GSX-8R in January 2024, Dunlop’s SportSmart TT tires were selected to optimize the performance of the model, showcased at the Monteblanco circuit.
The GSX-8R builds upon its GSX-8S predecessor with enhancements tailored towards a sportier riding experience. Featuring a 776cc parallel twin-powered engine, exposed seat rail, fairing and separate handlebars, the GSX-8R is designed for both road and track use.
Dunlop’s SportSmart TT tires were strategically chosen to complement the advanced capabilities of the GSX-8R, for a blend of track performance and comfort. The tire’s ‘Track Technology’ (TT) designation has features like NTEC RT technology enabling adjustments to rear tire pressure for enhanced grip and a Speed Vent Tread pattern for improved heat dissipation during high-performance riding.
