Giti Tire has launched the new GT Radial WinterPro2, with independent tests conducted by Dekra confirming an impressive increase in wet performance and high levels of grip in snow over the previous generation version and four main competitors.
Dekra purchased, fitted and tested the tire in size 195/65 R15 on a VW Golf TSI, for braking and handling on wet and snowy surfaces, with further traction testing on snow.
The tests, which were conducted earlier this year in Rovaniemi, Finland, and Fontange, France, confirm that the HP tire was up to 10% better on wet braking exercises and 2% better in wet handling.
