Bridgestone’s new tire for agricultural applications is designed to be extremely durable, and able to work both in the field and on the road under heavy payloads.
The VX-Tractor was developed and tested at Bridgestone’s European Technical Center facility in Italy and is produced at the company’s Puente San Miguel plant.
It is constructed from robust casings with extra-deep and extra-long lugs, ensuring high levels of traction and a long life.
The company’s very high flexion (VF) technology enables the tire to operate at low air pressure, thanks to a special construction, which has been combined with a revised tread design. This is up to 0.4 bar below tires using standard technology.
Developed for tractors of 100bhp and above, the VX-Tractor will be available in 38in and 42in sizes for the rear wheels and 24in to 34in for the front.
