Goodyear brand Avon Tyres has expanded its WX7 winter tire range, increasing access to a broad spectrum of cars with 12 additional SKUs between 17in and 19in, bringing the total size of the range to 29 fitments.
WX7 is suitable for snow, ice, slush and wet conditions.
The center grooves are designed with serrated edges that trap the snow and provide an improved ‘snow-on-snow’ grip. A solid center rib aims to enhance handling and steering response on wet and icy roads.
Avon says that 3D micro-gauge siping technology provides improved braking performance across in wintry conditions.
Sonia Leneveu, director of marketing consumer Europe at Goodyear, said, “We’re expanding the WX7 range following strong demand for the 17 existing fitments, driven by comprehensive performance, reliability and competitive price point. The additional 12 fitments mean a greater number of drivers can experience Avon’s century of tire-making experience.”
The new sizes will be available in May 2024.
