Yokohama completed the acquisition of the Alliance Tire Group earlier this month. Yokohama first announced the agreement to purchase ATG on March 25, 2016.
ATG will be included in Yokohama’s consolidated accounts from the Q3 of fiscal year 2016 (ending December 31, 2016), and the expected impact on the company’s full-year consolidated financial statements will be announced as soon as possible.
Meanwhile Toru Kobayashi is now the executive VP and chairman of Alliance Tire Group.
