Six months ago, German retreader Rigdon signed an agreement to purchase machinery from Italian company TRM.
The first Eagle Truck 3000 machines successfully underwent final acceptance tests at TRM’s factory in Ala, in the northern part of Italy, and were said to have performed above expectations. During the wet commissioning, a full automatic bead-to-bead buffing cycle took just three minutes – a record in the retreading industry. Both machines have now reached their final destination in Günzburg, Bavaria.
Rigdon is a commercial retreader of trucks, construction vehicles, earthmovers and cranes. Its services cover mainly the hot cure and precure retreading processes.
