Cabot Corporation has appointed Dr Patricia Hubbard as senior VP and CTO, reporting directly to CEO Sean Keohane. In this role, Dr Hubbard will assume responsibility for Cabot’s global technology and R&D functions. She will be responsible for shaping and evolving Cabot’s technology strategy while driving execution in support of the company’s business objectives.
“Patricia is a seasoned technology professional with a proven track record of leadership and a passion for working with customers to commercialize innovation across a diverse set of applications,” said Keohane.
“Her extensive knowledge of materials science and formulated solutions combined with her strong leadership skills and passion for product development made her a natural choice to help advance our focus on growth and application innovation.”

Dr Hubbard’s experience includes leadership positions at several global Fortune 500 companies. Most recently she was VP of R&D for Avery Dennison’s label and graphic materials division in North America. Her career in technology also includes VP of corporate R&D as well as technology director for the specialty engineered materials business at PolyOne Corporation. In addition, she has held various technology roles at General Electric.
Cabot Corporation will be at booth C514 at Tire Technology Expo 2018. The show is being held next week, February 20-22.
