Retread Tire Association member Pelmar Engineering Group has a complete Bandag retread plant – which is capable of handling up to 130 tires per shift – for sale.
The factory is said to be in excellent working condition, and comes with all available tooling, hubs, rims and envelopes for 15-25in tires.
The facility consists of the following items: two Matteuzzi inspection spreaders; an electrical Bandag autoclave for 22 tires; an electrical Scholz autoclave for 24 tires; an automatic Bandag buffer with expandable hub and sidewall brush, type 8112E; a SIO tire builder, type BE2E; a Bandag type 221W tire builder; a type 7400 Bandag shearography machine; an Olson envelop spreader, including tilting table and X-Y lifting arm; and a tread cutter.
Additional equipment includes a pressure testing machine; two repair spreaders; a monorail system; a skiving/filling station; and a cement station.
