Marangoni Retreading Systems has refreshed its precured tread range so that it now incorporates only two brands – PRL and UniTread – resulting in less complexity in the range and fewer product overlaps. The most important products of the previous Kontur line are still available in the PRL range.
The PRL range includes modern treads that are made with high-performing compounds, designed to offer high durability, grip in all road conditions, and reduced fuel consumption.
Marangoni has completely redesigned the UniTread range to suite the price-conscientious customer. This product family is divided into two lines: standard and basic. Unlike the PRL range, in which most of the products are cut-to-length based on the casing size, the UniTread products are offered in 10m tread rolls. Many of the treads are also lighter and therefore well-suited for the retreading of casings, which are typically exposed to less stress, fatigue and heating during service.
