Linglong Tire chairman and president Wang Feng attended the inauguration ceremony of the new president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on June 23.
Feng and representatives from the president’s office, the Serbian development office, and the Serbian development bureau gathered to discuss the prospects and opportunities of building under the One Belt, One Road initiative, mainly focusing on issues such as land, transportation, tax policy, and labor visas.
Serbia is now the world’s second largest investment destination with a history of over 70 years in automobile manufacturing, which is the most important industry in Serbia.
Many European countries have already made acquisition offers to Linglong Tire. Meanwhile It is expected that the location of Linglong’s second overseas plant in Europe will be selected in the near future.
