Chinese companies Linglong Tire and Safe-Run, a tire manufacturing equipment supplier, have signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to implement smart manufacturing processes across their operations.
Under the agreement, both companies say they will leverage their respective expertise to drive innovation, both in manufacturing and logistics automation, with a particular focus placed on increased digitization of their manufacturing and R&D processes.
“As a high-end smart equipment manufacturer and integrated engineering solution provider, the products of Safe-Run can meet the most stringent requirements of Linglong’s R&D, manufacturing and other aspects, and hence Safe-Run is the ideal partner of Linglong Tire,” commented Wang Feng, chairman of Linglong Tire.
Safe-Run chairman, Zhang Yingzi added, “As a manufacturer of high-end equipment, logistics automation, and smart factory systems, Safe-Run has become an important partner to Linglong Tire. The comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership between both sides shows Linglong Tire’s recognition of Safe-Run’s comprehensive strength, and is also a further reflection of the deep integration of the partnerships. [Under the agreement] Safe-Run will continue to strengthen their management system, guarantee product quality, optimize the service process, increase technology content to provide more powerful support and upgrade its equipment performance”.
