Goodyear has opened its cutting-edge Tire Testing Laboratory in Luxembourg. The facility is integrated with the tire maker’s Innovation Center and includes systems to perform the following three key testing activities: tire development performance measurements, regulatory and homologation tests, and the monitoring of production performance and quality control.
Carlos Cipollitti, Goodyear’s vice president, product development EMEA, and general director of the Goodyear Innovation Center in Luxembourg, said, “The innovative technology and machinery in the new laboratory strengthens our ability to test tires in our lab, which means that we do not have to perform as much testing on the road, speeding development time and getting innovative new tires to customers faster than ever.”
