Giti Tire USA has become a member of the US Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) after the board of directors unanimously approved the company’s membership at the association’s spring board of directors meeting.
Giti began tire production at its new Richburg, South Carolina, facility in October of 2017. The company’s US headquarters is in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
“We are pleased to have Giti join our organization. Giti’s investment in adding operations in the USA is a demonstration of the strength and appeal of this market,” said Anne Forristall Luke, USTMA president and CEO.
Other members of the USTMA are Bridgestone Americas, Continental Tire the Americas, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Hankook Tire America, Kumho Tire USA, Michelin North America, Pirelli Tire North America, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, and Yokohama Tire Corporation.
