Alliance Tire Group has revealed its plans to expand its market presence on the OE market. With 175 R&D engineers in Europe, Israel and India, and support from another 1,000 research fellows at Yokohama, the team at ATG has turned its focus on strengthening relationships with its OE customers. The OEM already has fitment deals with manufacturers such as Claas and AGCO for agricultural trailers, spreader trucks, balers and sprayers.
“Recently ATG has developed over 150 tires annually. Our engineering process is fast and has enabled us to be a reliable partner for OEMs looking for special products – even in small volumes and for niche markets. Our efficient product development process enables us to design new products in nine months on average, that is a key factor in serving major machine producers,” said Peter Baur, president at ATG Europe.
ATG says that in addition to all laboratory-based analysis and outdoor evaluation, testing is also performed at selected customer sites.
“In combination with our intensive development cooperation with renowned OEM partners and all our in-house testing, we also have 15 field engineers working closely with partners and customers across Europe,” added Baur.
