Volkswagen recently recognized Bridgestone as one of its best suppliers, awarding the company a Volkswagen Group Award 2017. The tire maker received the recognition in the Innovation & Technology category. Globally, just seven suppliers were recognized with this award.
Matthias Müller, CEO of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft (AG)and Dr Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz, member of the management board responsible for procurement, presented the award to Paolo Ferrari, CEO and president of Bridgestone EMEA.
Ferrari commented, “Bridgestone teams worldwide are honored by this prestigious award for Innovation & Technology.
