Thomas Holzer has taken over as CEO for Troester, a manufacturer of equipment for the rubber, cable and compounding industry.
He succeeds Peter Schmidt, a managing partner at the company, and assumed the role on January 1, 2024.
The appointment is part of the company’s corporate strategy to maintain continuity in management and provide stimulation for the company’s growth.
Holzer, who has been with the company since March 2021, was previously managing director at Voith in Heidenheim, Germany, and in the Asia region.
“Our common goal in the management board is to continue Troester’s success story and lead the company into new dimensions,” he said.
