Yutaka Kuroda (above) has been named as the new CEO and chairman of Falken Tyre Europe, replacing compatriot Mitsuteru Tanigawa, who was CEO from January 2018 to March 2019. Tanigawa now holds the position of senior executive officer at parent company SRI in the Asia-Pacific region.
Furthermore, Falken Tyre Europe has made several other revisions to its management structure to prepare for future expansion. Markus Bögner (below left), COO and managing director, becomes COO and president. Bögner, who has been with Falken since 2009, is primarily responsible for sales and marketing in his role as COO. This new position, which came into effect at the beginning of March, will enable Bögner to focus on the overall running and performance of the business.
Chief financial officer Shingo Sakashita (below right), meanwhile, has been named the new CFO and managing director.
