Paolo Pompei has been appointed as the new business area president of Trelleborg Wheel Systems as of April 1. He succeeds Maurizio Vischi, who is retiring.
Pompei has worked at Trelleborg Wheel Systems in various management positions since 1999, and most recently has been in charge of the global operations of agricultural tires.
“I am proud and honored to assume the responsibility for the continued development of Trelleborg’s tire operations. I am highly committed to the business and I am delighted to have been given this opportunity. We are at an exciting stage in the development of Trelleborg Wheel Systems with the ongoing integration of CGS’s tire operation.
