RFID technology developer FineLine Technologies has named Kyle Sundaram chief operating officer, reporting directly to the CEO and chairman George Hoffman. In his new role, Sundaram will oversee global operations for all industry solutions, including retail, tires, events and entertainment.
“Kyle is a proven manufacturing, supply chain, process and quality senior executive,” said Hoffman. “He will be a key pillar in our leadership team as we build a fully integrated strategy across all lines of business and advance FineLine to our next stage of operational maturity and sustained growth. Kyle’s deep supply chain experience, knowledge and exceptional operational skills add to our already strong leadership bench.”
Sundaram has more than 20 years of cross-industry experience leading global teams in the standardization of manufacturing processes and procedures in the USA, Mexico, China, India, South Africa and Europe. He is a highly experienced executive with a proven record of developing strategies and business operations that drive business results.
Most recently, Sundaram was vice president, growth operations and global operations at Amcor. Before that he worked as senior vice president of global operations at Transcendia (a private equity backed industrial films producer), where he was instrumental in streamlining operations of four acquired global businesses that diversified the product suite and more than doubled the company’s revenues.
Sundaram holds a Six Sigma Black Belt and has a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Madras, a master of science in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technical University and a master of business administration from Kennesaw State University.
