Three 19.5in tires have been added to Apollo Tyres’ EnduRace commercial line-up. The new models are EnduRace RA all-axle tire, RD2 drive tire and the RT trailer tire (all in 265/70 R19.5).
All three models are now available to customers in Europe, and will be showcased at IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany, September 16 to 22. Developed and produced in Europe, the new tires are certified for year-round use and are engineered to deliver durability, fuel efficiency and grip.
The EnduRace RA is a new 19.5in regional transport tire that features a slim, compact tread design with a wide contact area and sinusoidal grooves that optimize directional stability and even rates of wear on all axle positions. A reinforced casing offers 1.5 times greater durability than the European regulatory standard, while its slow-wearing compound promotes high mileage and long life.
The EnduRace RD 2 regional drive tire promises good performance in all weather conditions and is engineered for mileage across varied road surfaces. Featuring Apollo’s Invisible Groove Technology and Multi-Edge shoulder blocks, the tire promises good traction, while its advanced tread pattern design enhances wear resistance and reduces rolling resistance.
The EnduRace RT features an advanced tread pattern that offers even wear and uniform pressure distribution across a wide contact area while minimizing rolling resistance and noise. The wide shoulder and special compound enhance the tire’s ability to resist abrasion and wear under heavy usage, while the reinforced casing helps deliver durability 1.7 times greater than the European regulatory requirement.
